Carol Huynh

Carol Huynh made hisroty in 2008 when she became the first Canadian woman to win an Olympic gold medal in wrestling. Huynh's family fled from Vietnam's opressive government to Canada in the 1970's. Once they settled in British Columbia, Carol became the first child of her family to be born in Canada. Although she retired from wrestling in 2012, she is currenly President of the United World Wrestling Athletes Commission and a United World Wrestling Super 8 Ambassador.
